Christopher Williams - Director
Mr. Williams has worked in both restructuring/reorganization and management consulting across a variety of industries including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, retail and manufacturing and support services. His expertise includes refinancing; strategic, operational and financial review; vendor financial due diligence and mergers and acquisitions (M&A); performance improvement; working capital management, and management and post-merger integration.
Mr. Williams recent company-side experience includes advising a global pharmaceutical distribution business with revenue of £200 million refinancing £200 million of debt facilities; a European food processing equipment manufacturer with revenue of €350 million refinancing €400 million of debt facilities; a global optical disc manufacturer refinancing $400 million of debt facilities; a FTSE100 construction and support services business and a FTSE250 industrial parts distributor.
Recent lender-side advisory experience for Mr. Williams includes a syndicate of UK clearing banks on the restructuring of a UK care homes owner and operator with revenue of £150 million and debt of £200 million; the senior lenders on the restructuring of a property developer owning care homes in the UK with debt of €350 million following the collapse of the operator; the bilateral lenders to an European property developer with debt of €2 billion; a syndicate of Dutch clearing banks on the liquidation of a Dutch renewable energy company with debt of €150 million; a private equity sponsor and syndicate of Dutch clearing banks on the restructuring of a European food processor with debt of €100 million; a syndicate of U.S. private placement note holders and banks on the restructuring of an European conglomerate with debt of €1.1 billion; a syndicate of U.S. private placement note holders on the restructuring of a European engine manufacturer with debt of €200 million and a syndicate of U.S. private placement note holders on an exit from a Dutch construction business.
Prior to joining Hallmark Capital Partners, Mr. Williams worked at OC&C and Credo Strategy Consultants in London, where he advised corporate and private equity firms on strategy, operational improvement and commercial due diligence and M&A. He graduated from Cambridge University.
